Blog and Website upgrade theme issues.
-
I have a blog and website with WordPress. I’ve caused some confusion because I upgraded / purchased the Designfolio theme through my tester blog as opposed to the WordPress set up I created through my hosting package.
I want to use the fully upgraded Designfolio theme at: http://www.nadinerichardson.co.uk
Instead that theme seems to be working only at: http://nadzrichardson.wordpress.com
I’d like to avoid re-directing if at all possible.
I am using a ‘Designfolio’ theme on the http://www.nadinerichardson.co.uk website, but it looks bloggy and different to the one at nadzrichardson.wordpress.com. Does that make sense?
I’m not interested in blogging. I want to create a professional portfolio site for http://www.nadinerichardson.co.uk
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,
Your site at http://www.nadinerichardson.co.uk is a self-hosted WordPress blog, using the free software from WordPress.org. That means the upgrades and premium themes you purchase for your test blog here at WordPress.com can’t be transferred to it (since it’s hosted somewhere else).
You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
I see that you’ve already cancelled your Designfolio purchase for a full refund. (Please note it can sometimes take up to 10 business days for refunds to appear on your bank statement.)
The Designfolio here at WordPress.com is from Press Coders — you can find their self-hosted version of the theme for your self-hosted site at http://www.nadinerichardson.co.uk here:
If you need any further help setting up the self-hosted version of theme on your site, you’ll need to get in touch with the theme authors about that.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help. :)
