  Hello, I am struggling to add new categories on my sidebar for my blog website. I already have: Family, Hardships, Health, Inspiration, and Romance on it. When I try editing the widgets from the ‘Appearance’ area, it tells me that an error is made and that I need to connect to the developer. I would like ALL of my categories listed in the side bare, not just those few.

  Hi there,

  I noticed that you have 7 categories listed here: https://wordpress.com/settings/taxonomies/category/bigdreamsofasmalltowngirl.home.blog

  However, two of those have a “0” next to them, so they have not posts published yet. The good news is that your widget will show these new categories automatically… as soon as you publish at least one post under each one. So the trick to getting them to show up is to publish a few new blog posts that use those categories. :)
