Blog Connected to a Deleted Email Account

    Hi,
I created the wordpress blog (https://gloricacalonsag.wordpress.com/) as a requirement for a class back in 2014. The college recently deleted all graduate emails. Is there another way to provide proof of ownership and gain access to the account? I greatly appreciate any help that you can provide me. Thank you!

  • Hi there,

We are not able to help here in the support forums, as verifying account ownership requires us to ask you to provide info that is best not shared in this public venue.

With this in mind, please fill out this form here to the best of your ability: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

This will send all the info you have to our account recovery team, and from there they will contact you directly to assist you in regaining access to the account that owns gloricacalonsag.wordpress.com so you can delete it.

    Hi Jerry,

I’m unable to move forward with the account recovery form. I don’t have access to any of the three proofs of ownership (all connected to the deleted email).

Can I provide staff with identification through my actual ID, etc., or request that the blog is set to private so it doesn’t show up in search results? Thank you.

I just now found the verification URL and was able to submit the form. Thank you for helping me!
