  hi, I already have a domain name and a host so how can I can I create a wordpress blog with that ?

  EDIT: Please see my second reply. I missed that you already had a host. These instructions are just for setting up a WordPress.com site when you already have a domain name registered.

  You will need the Domain Mapping upgrade to do that. Domain Mapping is included in all WordPress.com paid plans:

  Once you have purchased a plan, here is a support document that will explain how to set up Domain Mapping with your domain:

  Ahhh, my apologies. I missed that you already have a host.

  If you are already paying for a web host, you probably do not need to set up anything on WordPress.com. You should talk to your host’s support team ans ask them if they offer one-click installs for the WordPress open-source software available from WordPress.org.
