Blog Deletion

  I have a website hosted on BlueHost that I am trying to delete. I saw this help page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/, but instead of the listed options under Site Tools (in step 2), including ‘Delete your site permanently,’ the only option I see on my site’s settings (wordpress.com/general/settings/) is ‘Manage your connection.’ (Clicking this does not reveal a site deletion option, either.) How can I delete my site?

  I checked your site and it appears you’re in the wrong forum. Your site is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would also reach out to Bluehost for help.

  They were referring to the WordPress.org forums. Those are at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
