  My domain name is going to expire which is fine with me, but I’d like to know:
  1. If I can keep my site and re-invent it under a new name and theme
  2. Purchase a new domain name for it
  …or…
  Do I have to start from scratch, and if so, since I already have a log-in name and account, how do I go about doing that?

  Hi there,

  You’re welcome to continue using your existing blog, without starting from scratch. Right now, your blog is at your free WordPress.com address here: http://homofactusest.wordpress.com/

  You can change the blog’s address if you’d like, to give it a different free WordPress.com address. You can also change the blog’s theme to give it a whole new look as you re-invent it.

  You can stop there, or you can also register a new domain name for the blog.

  If you’d prefer to start from scratch, instead, you can do that from your My Sites page. Just click on “Start a New WordPress” to start creating the new site.
