Blog hacked, People are posting advertisements on my behalf
-
HI.
I’ve noticed that over the last week people have infiltrated my wordpress profile and have posted various promotional pages. I’ve changed my password once already and that doesn’t seem to have stopped anything at all.
Please advise.Thanks

I have flagged this thread for Staff assistance. Just to be sure you have covered all the bases, go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one because that’s how many hackers gain access to blogs
Read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/If you suspect continued hacking:
1. If you can log-in go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.2. Disable post by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
3. Disable post by voice > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-voice/
4. Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password
5. Use a secure, encrypted connection to connect to your Dashboard. Under Users → Personal Settings, check the box that says “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages, and click Save Changes.

I’m afraid that is not a WordPress.COM blog but a WordPress.ORG one, and you will need to be over there for assistance. Our software works differently.

@raincoaster
Thanks so much for that catch.@robangle
I’m sorry but you have posted to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at WordPress.com with that site as it’s not being hosted by WordPress.com and we run on different software. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.
