blog in 2 languages

Hello! I learned that I can make a blog in 2 languages using Polylang plugin on Word Press. English being the default and Japanese as the second language. Will my Japanese version of blog show up on search engine, for example when people google in Japanese? Or will it be only available to people who click translate button?
Greatly appreciate your answer as I am trying to find the best way to write a blog in 2 languages!

Hi @emem1234, I’d imagine it would work well in both languages, though I’m not particularly familiar with the ins and outs of the plugin.
These forums are for the free sites using our managed hosting service, which can be quite different from running your own WordPress installation at another host.
You’ll likely get the most help contacting support for your plugin, or you might try asking in the forums for self-managed sites:

We don’t delete threads from the WordPress.com forums unless it’s a security issue.
If you’ve used your real name for your account username you can change it at https://wordpress.com/me/account/. And I see you’ve already removed your profile image.

Yes I was able to change the picture. However, even after changing the public display name on my account, it still shows under my picture and also on the stuff’s reply message :/

That’s your username, you’ll find it more places here too.
If you aren’t comfortable with it being your full name, I definitely recommend changing it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/
