Blog language

I have my site, elchoneteranch.com, linked to display my blog from WordPress. The site is developed in English, even though I’m in Costa Rica. When I go to the blog page on the site to verify the blog entries, I see the phrase ‘Continuar leyendo’ instead of ‘Continue reading.’ I need to change this. How?

The site at elchoneteranch.com is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. You can check the language settings for that site at Settings ->General in the WP-Admin dashboard at http://elchoneteranch.com/wp-admin

The site is hosted by GoDaddy; only the blog portion belongs to WP. However, the language settings in GoDaddy are English, and everything else on the website is in English – it’s only that one little part, which falls inside the blog container. This is what leads me to believe that it’s tied to WP, and not GD.

Nothing “belongs” to WordPress. Your site is built using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. That is something completely different than the hosting platform, WordPress.com, which is where you are now. We have no control over your site, and you’re using a different version of the WordPress software than we use here on WordPress.com. We cannot help you in this forum.
The correct place for help with the version of the WordPress software you’re using is the WordPress.ORG forums I linked to above.
