  Dear WP: I have been invited to post for Catholic Writers Guild. My home post page is missing some tools: I cannot edit the public private setting and there is no date bar present at all. I cannot write posts and then schedule them ahead of time. Whats’ up with that”?

  I don’t see any blogs on your account. Please make sure that you accepted the invitation.

  Dear Mac: As I mentioned in my above post it is not MY blog, but the blog for the Catholic Writers Guild. My old stuff from blogger is there but the new post I want to put up and pre date can’t be done because I have no access to edit “public or private” and have no way to edit the post date. In the right column the post date does not even appear. So how do I set up my completed post for future publication?

  Yes, the invitation has not bee properly accepted. The invitation will add you as a user to the blog, this adding the blog to your account.

  Currently, you have an account with no blogs.

  I recommend accepting the invitation again or asking the blogger to re-send it.
