Blog possible Hacked

Not sure if my blog was hacked but I’ve received numerous of comments on my posts today. I haven’t used this blog in like 2 years. I only noticed it cause I kept getting emails whenever there was a new comment on it. Some comments are in English and some are in other languages. Not sure what is going on but if you can look into it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi there,
The only recent comments I see on your site are in the Spam folder. Are those the ones you’re speaking of?
If so, no need to worry. Spam tends to come in waves, especially when a spammer thinks they’ve figured out a way around our spam filters. But the fact that those comments are in the Spam folder means our filters are working, and those comments are not actually appearing on your site.
If any comments do make it past the filter and land in your Pending folder, just mark them as spam and the spam filter will learn to filter more comments like those out as well.
If your site is no longer active, you might also want to consider closing comments on old posts. You can do this from My Site ->Settings ->Discussion ->Automatically close comments on post older than _ days.
