Blog post excerpt showing up on tweets on desktop but not mobile

My excerpts are set to the default and show up just fine on twitter on my laptop and desktop but only the post title is showing up on mobile twitter.
I am tweeting the URL only from my twitter account, although I have also tried publicizing automatically by connecting my account as well with the same result.
All I want is for the same excerpt that appears on my desktop to appear on mobile.
The preview screen under the social tab – mobile – looks fine when editing my post. It is just not translating to twitter on mobile.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
