Blog post excerts

    I am trying to make it so that my blog post that I have published only shows a short description/preview of my blog so that people have to click on it to read it and then can like it etc. I have been on many forums but still am unable to find how to do this on such as an existing post. Would appreciate any help

    Hi,

    Your lone post on the front page of https://elliecatherineblog.wordpress.com/ displays an excerpt of the post content, so it appears that you’ve learned how to use the More Tag. Is that what you are referring to?

    If, on the other hand, you are trying to abbreviate individual posts, rather than the posts on the blog page, this may be accomplished with the nextpage tag. See the NextPage support page for information and instructions.
