Blog posts not showing up

Hi, can someone tell me why my posts won’t show up on my public site but do on my account when i create a post under the post option. my posts should come up as soon as you enter the site. I read somewhere you should be able to go into WordPress-settings – reading to sort this out but i cannot find this option. Thank you.

@curiousrascal I see one site here and it doesn’t have any recent posts. Can you confirm what site you need help with?
Please note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com. For help with a site hosted somewhere else, you’ll need to use the forums for self-managed WordPress installations instead.
If you have your own copy of WordPress, I’d imagine you’ve got a misconfigured caching plugin, or possibly too many sticky posts. You can find help in the correct forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
