Blog posts/photos are not WYSIWYG

    The format of my posts (while writing or editing) are not the same after I publish them. When I go back to the post to edit it, it’s not the way I had it before I clicked “Publish”. Everything is misaligned, and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Even when I go to the HTML tag to try to take out and extra <DIV> tags, after removing them, I go back to Visual, then back to HTML, and they’re there again! Please let me know what’s going on, as I’ve been having trouble since yesterday, and I still haven’t figured it out. Is it the theme that I installed? I tried 4 different themes to see if it’s the theme’s setting, however each and every theme has had the same result.

    Try removing the excess div tags from the HTML editor, then publish the changes before switching back.

    Macmanx: I did that, however it didn’t work.

    To be more detailed, I am inserting multiple images into my post, then adding descriptions below each image. When inputting images and texts into the text box, everything is aligned just the way I want it. After I publish my post, the descriptions are no longer UNDER the images, as they are positioned to the side of the image. The images are also misaligned as well, and sort of look stacked.

    Does it have to do with the fact of using “Enter” or “Shift+Enter” when adding a new paragraph??

    This was never the case until yesterday. Would it happen to be due to the different themes that were activated?

    Misaligned images in unfortunately normal. What you see in the editor is not exactly what you get on the blog, as the font and size are different on the blog, and once browsers finish cleaning up excess whitespace as they often do, you may get a slightly different result.

    Images are always aligned relative to text, which is why this is far more apparent when working with images.

    As for the text below the images, have you considered inserting a caption instead? This will be effectively “glued” below the image and won’t move.
