  I switched to html editor on accident while trying to find the insert media button that diappeared. Can you help me resort this?

  Okay, you’re using the open source version of WordPress made over on WordPress.org. Support for that version can be found at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  But if you’re using the block editor, there should be a link at the top to exit HTML mode. Else you can click on the editor menu – the three dots appearing top-right, which should also contain that option.
