  Hi there,

  I was wondering do I NEED to run my website through WordPress to also run my blog through WordPress?

  Hi Juliet,

  It is possible to create a website with a blog on WordPress.com. However, some people choose to create a website away from WordPress.com and just create their blog here — then add a link to the website/blog in the menu on each site.

  It’s also worth noting there are two types of WordPress (WordPress.com and WordPress.org):

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  That information might be useful in helping you determine what is created where.
