Blog Sidebar

    I’ve been working on this for far too long, and figured I should ask for help. Yesterday, my sidebar worked fine. Today, it is removed from my homepage, and replaced with my instagram footer instead.
    The sidebar is still active on my post pages. I’ve thoroughly checked all customization fields, reinstalled plugins, swapped my old sidebar for a new one, etc.
    Could there be a bug and it will be fixed tomorrow? I don’t even know how this happened, as I was not editing any changes. I simply logged on today it was like this.

    Thank you for the URL.

    I checked your website. Your website is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org.

    It is hosted on Bluehost.

    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation.

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You could look in WordPress.org forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar.
