  Why does my blog take so long to load?

  Is there an upgrade I can buy in order to have it move more quickly? It doesn’t matter what computer I use, it seems to be inherent to my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Having all of those youtube embeds is slowing down your loading time. I would encourage you to reduce the number of posts that are displayed on your front page. That should help. You could make use of the “more” tag as well:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  Thank you so much for your help. Also, could you tell me how to reduce the number of posts displayed on front page? I’m not sure how to control that. Thanks, Marina

  To change the number of posts per page, log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard and go to Settings–> Reading and look for the “Blog pages show at most _______ posts” setting.
