  Are posting blockable by someone in certain rooms? Is the adding of pic /avatar relevent to this problem>

  Could you be more specific? What rooms? Do you want to blog blog writers from posting? Then just delete them from the blog. Do you want to prevent commenters from commenting? We need more information.
