blog writer's document page, and front end reader's blog format… can u fix it?

we have a major problem here, with the writer’s document writing page.

    I can’t format it!!!

Like, I put in 3 <enter> carriage returns between paragraphs, but on the blog view, there are no spaces between paragraphs.

and the format options for the document doesn’t contain any useful formats.

could you please add a proper writing format to this document writing page?

it’s important to do this, because as a writer’s blog, if new people come here to check out your site, and try the document writer, and can’t make a decent looking blog, with paragraphs separated properly, one of two things will happen…

    1. They will leave.
    2. They will check the premium functions.

Then they’ll realize you are holding back the good formatting to try and make them sign up for premium membership.

And then they’ll either sign up, or get mad at you for making people’s work look bad unless they pay you, and leave. OR, they’ll just refuse to pay, use the free blogging, and have a bad looking blog, which makes people think that WordPress’s software makes ugly, bad looking blogs.

Which means less people will come check it out and start blogging.

Please give us at least one good formatting option, ok?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

there is another problem, even after getting premium membership…

There are no font options on the writer’s page.

You need to give us some of the more populat font options to choose from, like Arial, Times New Roman and so on.

Hi there, I’m sorry for the frustration you’ve had so far with the post/page editor! I’d be happy to give you some tips to work on the issues you mentioned.

First, I highly recommend taking a look at this support page, which has tips and tricks for adding special formatting (including using different fonts) to your posts and pages: Styling Individual Posts and Pages

Like, I put in 3 <enter> carriage returns between paragraphs, but on the blog view, there are no spaces between paragraphs.

The WordPress editor automatically removes multiple paragraph breaks in a row, but there are different ways you can add in extra space. Would you like to have more space between every paragraph on your blog, or only between certain paragraphs?

You need to give us some of the more populat font options to choose from, like Arial, Times New Roman and so on.

If you’re interested in changing the font on your entire blog, that’s actually included in your WordPress.com Premium upgrade. You can select specific fonts by going to Appearance > Customize > Fonts. We have additional information about custom fonts here: Custom Fonts

If there is other formatting that you’re interested in, please let me know and I’ll be happy to look into it for you!
