Blog/follow notifications aren't using (only) email address tied to my account

    I receive an email notification for a blog that I follow. This notification is sent to: (email visible only to moderators and staff). However, the email address associated with my account is: (email visible only to moderators and staff). I don’t see a separate place in my settings to changes the email address that notifications are using. Furthurmore, according to support, it sounds like blog/follow notifications should be coming to (email visible only to moderators and staff), not the other address. The support text reads:
    The email address you used when registering your WordPress.com account is listed on your Account Settings page….. Account notifications sent to this address will include: ….. Updates from blogs you follow

    Please tell me how to delete or update the email address being used for my blog/follow notifications.

    Hi there,

    You can follow blogs via email even if they aren’t linked to a WordPress.com account. To unsubscribe that email address from that blog, you can log out of WordPress.com and visit this page:

    Status

    Then, while logged in to your WordPress.com account, you can follow the blog again so you receive the updates at the email address linked to your WordPress.com account.
