Blogs cannot connect
-
I have two blogs with wordpress.com that are currently pointing to expired domain names. Since the name servers have been changed in the control panel and point to the expired domain and not wordpress I cannot log into my control panel.
The sites in question are:
lifebeyondbipolar.com
bipolarfact.comHow do I direct them back to site_name.wordpress.com?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am so confused. I have deleted blogs that are still showing up on my blog list and I have created a new blog that is not showing up. Can anyone help me here?

Hi there,
According to our records, the two domain names you mentioned are not registered with WordPress.com or being used with WordPress.com blogs. You can see the publicly available information about those domain names here:
http://who.is/whois/lifebeyondbipolar.com
http://who.is/whois/bipolarfact.com
Although the domain lifebeyondbipolar.com was originally registered with WordPress.com, it was transferred away. According to the Whois information linked above, it was transferred to GoDaddy and recently expired.
The two blogs using those domain names that are listed on your My Blogs page are self-hosted WordPress blogs linked with Jetpack. You’ll need to contact the hosting companies for those self-hosted blogs in order to regain access to the dashboards. You can also remove those blogs from your My Blogs page with this guide: Disconnect Jetpack Sites
Can you send me a link to the new blog you created that isn’t showing up on your My Blogs page? I can use that information to figure out why it isn’t showing up there.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to disconnect jetpack, thinking it may be the issue, but cannot. I click on the disconnect jetpack link and nothing happens. Is there another way to disconnect it? I was reading somewhere that you had to actually go into the control panel of the blog, which no longer exists. Both domains have indeed expired and I have no intention of getting them back. I just want them off of “my blogs.”
The other site in question is freedomwithmyplexus.wordpress.com. I get a message stating that the site/blog is no longer available and has been deleted by the user. This is not the case. I just created it last night.
Thanks again for your help.

I’m not sure why the Disconnect Jetpack link isn’t working for you. I went ahead and disconnected those two blogs for you, so you’re all set with those.
I also checked our records for the blog freedomwithmyplexus.wordpress.com. According to our records, that blog was deleted 10 months ago. However, you currently have another blog that was recently updated, which should be listed on your My Blogs page.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that.

Thanks for getting those two taken care of.
I just created the freedomwithmyplexus username and blog last night. Is is possible it was associated with one of the other deleted blogs and not the myfantabulouslife one? Is there any way to get that name back?
myfantabulouslife is working fine, but it was supposed to be freedomwithmyplexus. I hope I am making sense.

Hi there,
Thanks for clarifying those details. It looks like something funny may have happened when you changed your username last night — I’m checking with our developers now to see what happened and whether we can get that blog at freedomwithmyplexus.wordpress.com working for you. I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update from them! :)

Hi there,
Good news! Our developers sorted out the issue and your new blog is now up and running: http://freedomwithmyplexus.wordpress.com/
You can manage it from your My Blogs page. Just let me know if I can help with anything else. :)

Pure awesomeness!!! Thank you so much for your help. Thanks to the development team as well.
