"blogs I follow" widget, not displaying all blogs

  I’m a professor, requiring my students to each have a blog for class. I installed the “blogs I follow” widget and set the number of blogs to accommodate all my students’ blogs. All of their blogs are listed in the blogs I follow list under the reader menu, but they aren’t all showing up in the widget–only about half of them do. How can I fix this?
