Blogs published but not posting

  Hi, I have seen this question several times but have never found a solution that fixes my problem. I have about 28 categories too choose from when I post a blog. When I use some of them, they show published but are not visible on my blog post. My current work around is to assign an additional category that I know posts.

  Is there a setting somewhere that controls how many categories are usable?
