Blue Host Staging/Live Site Question

    Hello,

    I have recently came into this website. We want to create a whole new website for precisioncapture.com with a whole new theme, plugins, elementor instead of WPBakery, etc. However my colleagues are worried that when I created the staging site via Blue Host on WP Dashboard that somehow it’s going to get all messed up. I told them that we can create a whole new site on staging. Basically erasing the whole website on staging and starting from new and then push live once we are finished. Is that correct or is there something that I am missing here?

    The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
