    Recently cancelled my http://www.wordpress.com membership.
    Proceeded to buy bluehost.com hosting. Installed WordPress.
    Attempted to navigate to ‘http://www.piratesoftheprime.com//wp-admin’ only to get
    error message:
    ‘Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.’

    Is this because I’m using the same domain as I was using for wordpress.com?
    Or do I need to signup for wordpress.org membership?

    Hi there,

    Your domain is pointing to Bluehost, but it’s possible your browser still “remembers” that it is pointing to WordPress.com. Clear your browser cache, and it should start loading the correct site on Bluehost’s end.

    I notice your domain is loading a Bluehost landing page at the moment, not a site, so you might need to complete some further domain configuration on their side as well for everything to work.
