  I am going to need a booking page where I can take card payments and people can book time slots with a specified number of units per time slot. what do I need to do this

  Hi –

  It sounds like you’re only selling a digital product (time). Is that right?

  There’s difference scheduling and payment processors available when you use our business plan. That allows you to use plugins. https://wordpress.com/pricing/ It includes your annual hosting, domain, and support.

  If this is a low volume situation, though, you might be able to get by with using a contact form and simple payments.

  Thanks for your help.

  I will be upgrading to the business plan.

  I will be setting up an indoor axe throwing centre. It will have 4 throwing lanes, 3 of these can be booked either for adults or children and the 4th can only be booked for children. It would be good if I can also offer an option for private booking of all the lanes. I would like these to be booked and paid for online. I’m happy to use Stripe or something similar for the payments.

  Which plugin would be best for this.

  Hi Chris –

  Good Morning :) That sounds great. So, there are a number of plugins that can give you this functionality. Take a look at this list to start with: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/booking/

  With this, you’d configure the actual booking plugin in 4 sections (4 lanes). The payment can easily be collected online as well. I hope that helps.

  You might also consider adding a calendar somewhere on the site that indicates availability.
