Breach of copyright – my mistake!!

  Hi there. I’m new to blogging and set up a blog called TwistedSister. Only afterwards did I realise that I’d breached international copyright laws by using the name of a famous band as a play on words. I have a disability that twists my limbs. I need to change the name of my blog page. How do I do that? Thanks a million for the help!

  That would be trademark and not copyright, but your site is twistedsistersite.

  Personally I’d add a disclaimer in a text widget in your site sidebar or footer that you are not associated with the band and leave it at that.

  If you’d rather not take the chance then you can either:
  Delete the site entirely (which means no one, not even you, will be able to reuse that URL) and set up a new site with the new URL.

  Or follow these instructions to change the URL of your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/ Be very cautious while doing so because once these changes are made, they are permanent and cannot be undone.
