Brighten featured image

  If I add an image to my page or post it appears normally. However, if I add any image to the front page, or use it as a featured image – the same images appear darker.

  I have access to custom CSS and am using the Swell theme.

  Can anyone give me a hand?

  Hi there!

  Its hard to help you with this without seeing the site you’re referencing. However, from what I can tell, the Swell theme has a filter for header images to make the page titles easier to read. This can be removed via CSS.
