Broken Site
-
I was playing about in my functions.php file in my theme file, when I incorrectly typed some code in. Now My site is broken and I can’t even log in to correct my mistake! Could you help me get the site back up?
The last three lines in the functions.php file which are:
function astra_function_change_site_title( $tag ) {
$tag = ‘h3’;
return $tag;
}Need to be removed.

To be clear, a message directed to my email sent three links, all which are useles. The first two just said that my site had critical issues, the other said that I dont have recovery mode initialised.
How can I fix my site?

Hi there,
We can’t help directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed business hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (1&1 IONOS) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. The good news is that for help with this you can turn to the open-source WordPress forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
