Browser problem with menu bar

  My blog looks completely different on Internet Explorer from how it does on Safari: this means that the menu isn’t visible to anyone using Internet Explorer (our University system). Please can you help me as I’ve created an extensive website for an exhibition and visitors aren’t able to see it properly.
