Build First??

    Hiya.

    I am hoping I can use WordPress to build a website, and then upload it once it is complete?? Is there a way I can build it, without linking it to a domain until I’ve finished??

    Hi there,

    You can create a new WordPress.com site without using a custom domain, yes.

    All sites on WordPress.com get a free .wordpress.com address when the site is created, that functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that address.

    So you can experiment and build your site at that free address, even upgrade the site while still using the free address, and only use a custom domain once you’re ready to launch the site.
