building a website

  I want to create a website. I have a host and a domain name. Can I create a site and then assign the host and point the domain name to the site after the site is created?

  Yes, you can create a free site for as long as you like. The address won’t be too critical if ultimately your intention is to upgrade to a paid plan and map a domain you already own to that site.
