Building an Instacart Copy on WooCommerce

    Hello,

    I’ve been trying to create a website that is essentially a copy of instacart in terms of functionality. I’ve used squarespace and shopify, both of which have extremely large issues associated with them. I’m writing this email to see which of these features are supported by your website. Please let me know and be honest. 

    Issues with Squarespace
    1. The search functionality is terrible, you cannot search for products, intolerant of typos
    2. Limit of 10000 items per store (ShopRite has 30k items)
    3. Inability to export/modify over 10k items
    4. No ability for customers to add their previous cart to order

    Issues with Shopify
    1. You cannot have multiple stores in a single webpage, you have to use collections to simulate stores, this creates lots of issues
    2. Since there are no stores, you cannot create a search bar that searches only within a particular store. You also cannot create a search bar that searches only within a particular collection
    3. Since there is no way to distinguish between categories and stores, you cannot have a list of categories on the sidebar for the respective store you’re shopping in. For example, on instacart you click on Walgreens, and you have a set of categories on the left-hand side, these categories are different from the categories that display when you click on ShopRite. This is not possible in Shopify. 

    Please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
