Building Site Before Switching Domain

    Hi, we have a website through Squarespace currently but are interested in building a new site with WordPress and store through WooCommerce. How can I build a website without switching the domain?

    Hi there,

    To create an e-commerce site with WooCommerce here on WordPress.com you need to upgrade to the Business plan, register a temporary domain for free (included in the plan), and start building your site.

    When you’re ready, you need to cancel the temporary domain and transfer your own domain (again without paying anything).
