    I obtained a domain through GoDaddy a few days ago & paid for my domain registration for 3 years. After more research, I want utilize World Press to build my site and drop GoDaddy. IF I can not transfer the domain to Word Press before 60 days expires, is there anyway I can go ahead and start developing my Website on Word Press? I seem to be in a loop that keeps me going back to select a Domain Name

    Yes, sure, you can start building your site using the free subdomain, or you can map your domain, instead of transferring it:

    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

    Once your domain is ready to be transfered, you’ll be able to do that.

    Please note that mapping is free with any of our paid plans and, since a domain registration is also free for the first year, you won’t need to pay additionally for the transfer.
