Bundle required?

    Hi there
    I am new to blogging and am completely confused, I am in the process of purchasing my domain via a domain site, and then I want to have that as my visible URL instead of it containing ‘.wordpress.com’ once my confirmation is through on the purchase of my domain, do I need to upgrade my package on wordpress? or can I simply just redirect?
    I was looking at the $99 pro package, but I’m not clear on whether I need it? please help!
    Can I get custom design without it?
    Can I do the domain mapping without it?

    You want domain mapping $ 13.– / year

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    That will change the URL displayed from wrappedupinfashion.wordpress.com. to your-domain.com

    Domain registration on its own is $18/year for .com, .org or .net, and $25 for .me.
