Hello there,
Plugins can be submitted via the plugin repo as detailed here: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/developers/add/
Can you provide more information as to what you’re looking to submit as we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi, we had a customer reach out to us trying to embed a ClickView video into WordPress. However the videos wouldn’t play, they just show a black screen. I had a look through the WordPress documentation and it looks like iframe is not supported? Because of this I was wondering if you could whitelist ClickView videos or if there was some other way to embed third party videos on WordPress. Here is a sample embed code of a ClickView video:
<div style="padding:56.25% 0 0 0; position:relative;">https://online.clickview.com.au/share/embed?shareCode=9f30ca65&a=false</div> -
Sorry, it looks like the formatting went weird, here is the embed code again:
<div style=”padding:56.25% 0 0 0; position:relative;”>https://online.clickview.com.au/share/embed?shareCode=9f30ca65&a=false</div>

Sorry, let me try embed code again:
<div style="padding:56.25% 0 0 0; position:relative;">https://online.clickview.com.au/share/embed?shareCode=9f30ca65&a=false</div> -
I’m not sure why the format keeps changing but I’ll replace the angular brackets with curved brackets, hopefully that will make a difference
(div style=”padding:56.25% 0 0 0; position:relative;”)
(iframe frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen style=”position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:100%; height:100%;” src=”https://online.clickview.com.au/share/embed?shareCode=9f30ca65&a=false” allow=”autoplay”) (/iframe) (/div) -
Would you be willing to share it in a pastebin link instead? It still didn’t seem to come through properly, as this is just a div with a link.
Also, this may help:
https://wordpress.com/support/code/That shows what code we do and don’t allow outside our Business Plan. I’m guessing you’ve got a script, embed, or iframe. She would need a Business Plan for that, though she could probably get away with a simple link like this if you support it:
<a href="https://heraffiliatelink.com/?ref=whatever"><img src="https://hersites.com/theimage.png"></a> -
Here is the pastebin link: https://pastebin.com/bARZ2PZw
Yes, ClickView uses iframe to embed videos.
I’m guessing the code snippet above would link out and open the video in another tab? I think the customer was specifically looking to embed the video on the page.

Thank you for sharing that code. To be able to embed that on a WordPress.com site, you’ll have to upgrade to our Business plan.
If you have any other questions, just let me know, and I’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for the info! I was wondering if it would be possible to add ClickView videos to the list of authorised videos on WordPress like YouTube, Vimeo etc. ?

Hi there,
We’ll make sure and are happy to recommend this internally, but there would not be a timetable for when feature requests such as this would be implemented if considered. In the meantime, I would definitely recommend checking out our Business Plan so that ClickView can be integrated into your site.
Thanks!
