Business Option for Non-Profits?

  I am a teacher at a public school and use WordPress to host an event that we provide for the community via the school district. In order to install plugins, I have to upgrade to a business plan which my school cannot afford for $242 per year. Is there an option for non-profit organizations so that we can add registration forms to our site?
