Buying a new domain

  I want to buy a new domain name and map my old free wordpress site to it. When I go to buy the new domain in WordPress, it does not give me the option to map it to the old one. How do I do this?

  I’ll look into this for you. What is the custom domain that you are trying to register and what is the WordPress.com URL? And you’re not receiving any messages or errors as you try to map the domain?
