By mistake entered wrong username. Want to change

    I purchased Bluehost web space and was learning hosting. but By mistake I entered wrong username. I tried a lot to change the same but it says Username once created can not be changed. I really want help in doing this. Please help to change user name.

    Hi there,

    We can’t help directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

    Instead your host (Bluehost) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. Specifically we use a custom user management system here that does allow you to change your username as you wish, so we’re not familiar with the system your Bluehost site uses.

    Please ask there as the folks in that forum are most familiar with the version of WordPress your host uses, and are in the best position to help, thanks!
