Our organizations embedded Google Calendar was functioning properly, but continued to list the unsubcribed calendars on Google Calendar.

Activated the Event Calendar plugin with the thought it would help resolve ‘unsubscribed’ Google calendars.

Subsequently found (the Raw HTML), identified and removed the ‘&src=AbC …xYZ’ statements for these unwanted calendars.

‘Saved Edits’ show just the Google Calendar desired. Update and ‘X’ out of WPBakery Page Builder showed a 400 Error, with the following msg …

To protect your security, calendar.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

Deactivated Event Calendar PlugIn, expecting the Calendar button to return to the HTML code …

How d I resolve this EventCalendar link back to the HTML data ?

  • Hey there! That sounds a conundrum. Your mention of WP Bakery makes me suspect you’re referring to another site, though, as the site you listed doesn’t have that.

Free WordPress.com sites wouldn’t support that plugin, and while you can install it on our Business Plan, I don’t see that on your account. If you’re not sure whether it’s hosted here, can you send a link to the correct site?

If it isn’t hosted here, your best bet may be to get in touch with support for WP Bakery, or whichever plugin you’re using. They may be aware of the issue.

Going forward, these forums are for the sites hosted here on our servers. If you use other hosting, there is another forum for the free WordPress software. You can find that here:

And if you’d like more info about the difference between the WordPress software and the services by WordPress.com, we have more info here. Let us know if you have any questions about that!
