Can a template be completely installed so I can just edit easily?

    I am new to wordpress and having lots of issues. I found a great template but when i install it like only parts of the templates demo show up which for someone like me makes it hard to edit

    Can I not just install the template to look exactly like the demo with all the posts and links the demo has and then just slowly edit each section? And if I can how?

    I have always used wix cause its so simple but the templates their dont work for what I need.

    Hi there,

    Once you activate a theme on a WordPress.com site, it’s completely installed. But it needs to be set up according to the theme’s instructions before it will look like the demo. You can find the instructions for the Hever theme you currently have active on your site here:

    Activating a theme does not also add the content from the demo site to your own site. It just activates the design and any special features included with that theme, and with some of our themes, like Hever, it creates a front page only that matches the theme demo.
