Can a tracking code that is not Google Analytics be added

  Can a tracking code that is NOT Google Analytics be added through any plan that is on WordPress.com? I have been asked to add a tracking code from the service we use for distributing emails (Vuture). I know on the free plan, tracking code can not be added. Can script tracking code be added to the header through either Premium or Business plans through altering the CSS code? Or through a widget?

  Hi there,

  Script code cannot be added using CSS, no matter what plan you’re on. CSS can only be used to change the appearance of elements on a page. It cannot be used to insert or modify a site’s HTML.

  Script code can be used on WordPress.com business plan sites where you’ll be able to add the code in a widget, or you might be able to use a plugin to add the code to the site header instead. Modifying the site files directly is not possible on any plan on WordPress.com.
