Can auto-renewal be cancelled so as to allow a switch to WordPress.ORG?

  My automatic domain renewal is currently in progress, with payment having already gone through. I wish to cancel this as I planned on letting the subscription run out so that I could switch to WordPress.ORG.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The pending renewal payment has been cancelled, so we haven’t collected any payment for that domain renewal. (When that happens, it can take some time for the cancelled payment to be processed and the funds to be released back to your account, but you should see that soon.)

  Your domain is currently set to expire on August 07, 2014.

  If you’re planning to continue using your domain elsewhere, please don’t let it expire. The domain expiration process is lengthy, and you may not be able to re-register your domain afterwards: Domain Expiration

  Instead, you’re welcome to transfer your domain to another registrar any time before it expires: Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  Thank you very much for your help! That’s great :)

  As for the next step; I want to renew my domain and all that goes with it, but simply want to transfer to the WordPress.ORG platform. How does one go about doing that?
