  Where exactly in the world are you? I’m in the UK and https://wordpress.com/pricing/ shows £3. Of course there are no monthly payment plans. If I upgraded from a free to a Personal plan I’d pay £36 or I could lock in for two years for an 8% discount and pay £66.
