Can find way to update payment card

I logged in after seeing a failed charge from WordPress. I cannot find a way to update it. Can someone please help?

I don’t see any recent history of charges under the account you’re currently logged in to.
What exactly are you trying to renew?

Wordpress charged me for a site at Paproski.ca which I set up for a friend. Having a hell of a time trying to get to it. I can see it from godaddy.

When I go through go daddy I can get into the site. When I try from WordPress I cannot. I have authentication links and transaction links but they aren’t valid. This is absolutely insane and cause for this site to move to a competitor. This shouldn’t be nearly as hard as it is!

So, there are actually two sites here, and the site you see at Paproski.ca isn’t on WordPress.com.
There is a domain mapping upgrade for that domain that belongs to a different WordPress.com account, but that upgrade isn’t doing anything – the domain is not pointing to the WordPress.com site, but to GoDaddy.com, where the site you see on that domain is hosted. It looks like the domain is registered with them as well. So in order to keep the site currently appearing at Paproski.ca online, the only people you need to pay are GoDaddy.com.
There is also a Personal Plan on the WordPress.com site with the mapping upgrade for that domain, but no one is even able to see the WordPress.com site, due to the domain being pointed to a completely different site. So it doesn’t really make sense to renew that Personal Plan at all – paying for that plan is wasting money on a site that no one can get to.

If I let this go, can I assume that it is not needed and this site will remain fully operational with any need to pay this in the future?

Yes, the actual content that you have created for your site will in no way be affected by no longer having this upgrade. Any additional features you were using because of the upgrade (CSS, extra storage space) can no longer be used, but the actual content you created and published will not be affected.
