Can I change my address?

    As I was setting up my new WordPress account, I hit the Enter key by accident before I could type in the blog address I wanted. Now it says my blog address is the same as my username. Is there any way to fix this accident?

    You may leave the initial website inactive, perhaps setting the site visibility on private so that search engines won’t index it, and create a new site with the address you’d prefer.

    Another alternative is to change the address of the present site as described in the Change a Blog Address support page. However, one problem with this option is that if you change the address you’ll never again be able to create a website with the address that is replaced.
