Can I change my address?

  I am considering changing my .wordpress.com address.
  Can I change it? Do I have to start over? Is there a tool for carrying my formatting and content over to the new address? Thank you!

  Doing so is permanent, irreversible, and you lose ALL standing in search engines and start over from zero. But yes, you can do it http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  We generally just suggest registering a new URL, setting the old one private, and importing the content from the old one.

  On the Tools page of the dashboard, click Export. That creates and XML file. Then on the same page on the NEW blog dashboard, click Import and that does it.
